2020 Annual LAMP Pedagogy and Technology Conference

The following information pertains only to the LAMP Pedagogy and Technology Conference. 2020 is an exceptional year in that we are joining together with the Open Apereo Conference. See the Open Apereo Conference web site for information about registration, fees, lodging, and the like.

The fee for the conference is $350 per person. The fee includes all conference sessions and all conference meals.

LAMP Consortium members receive a discounted registration price of $250 per person.

LAMP Consortium member organizations also have access to a limited number of free registrations. The number of participants that each member organization can send at no charge is based on the number of user accounts contracted at each member organization. Consortium members are welcome to send more than the allotted number of free registrations.  However, the member organization will be charged the standard discounted fee of $250 for registrations in excess of the allotted number.

  • 250 user accounts — one free registration
  • 500 user accounts — two free registrations
  • 750 user accounts — three free registrations
  • 1,000 user accounts — four free registrations
  • 1,500 user accounts and above — five free registrations
  • Host institution (where the workshop is held) — ten free registrations

All attendees must register.

Lodging is not provided as a part of your registration fee. Each registrant is required to make their own reservation at the Boone Tavern Hotel.

Please contact the hotel directly to make your own reservations. To get special LAMP Conference rates, call 1(859)985-3700 and ask for the LAMP Consortium group block.

You may also make reservations by visiting the
Boone Tavern website. Click on the Reservations link at the top of the page. On the resulting page, half way down, find a dark blue button labeled "Check Availability & Book Now" and click it. Fill in the required information on the resulting form, including the Group ID (TBD) (to get your special Conference rate). Then click Check Now and follow the prompts to complete your reservation.

If you do not wish to stay at the conference hotel, please indicate that when registering. You will then be responsible for making your own hotel reservations at an alternate hotel. We will provide information about recommended local hotels upon request.

Meals are an important part of the Conference. When participants "break bread together" they get to know each other in ways that transcend workshop breakout sessions. All meals are included in the registration, beginning with Tuesday breakfast and concluding with a mid-morning coffee break on Thursday. All conference participants are encouraged to join in. We will go out to dinner together on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings.
